This majestic bird of prey is the Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi)

This eagle is endemic to the Philippines and can be found on four major islands: eastern Luzon, Samar, Leyte, and Mindanao, with most of the population living on Mindanao.

The species' numbers have slowly dwindled over the decades to the current population of 180 to 500 eagles. A series of floods and mud slides, caused by deforestation, further devastated the remaining population. The Philippine Eagle may soon no longer be found in the wild unless direct intervention is taken.

Oh my God!!! :omg: Really great work with using colored pencils! I have pencils from Faber_castell, but aquarell( Yes I iused them to cassowary).
His beak and feathers on head' re GREAT!! It's a pity these big and beautiful eagles're rare! Well I see this light on right mean hope from phillipine eagles, aren't you?
